I would like to wish a Happy New Year to all of our readers !
I hope everybody has enjoyed 2011 !
Personally, it was a year full of changes, I met a lot of fantastic people, had lots of new and wonderful experiences but also some I would have preferred not to have such as the big earthquake that hit Japan on March and that will stay in everybody's memory forever.
But positive things also happened for Japan in 2011 such as the soccer world cup's victory by Nadeshiko Japan, the Japanese women soccer team (check this out for the 2011's top 5 news we selected).
For those of our readers who are in Japan, are you ready to eat Osechi and Zoni, Japanese food that we traditionnaly eat at the New Year (for more details, you can refer to our article about New Year in Japan right here) ?
Here in Japan, you traditionally spend the New Year with your family.
Oh and also don't forget to make your Hatsumode (first visit to a shrine of the New Year) !
HAPPY NEW YEAR !
